Kensa Heat Pumps, the UK’s leading ground source heat pump manufacturer will continue to partner with Exeter Chiefs Rugby Club for the 22/23 Premiership season.
Kensa officially joined forces with the Exeter Chiefs (https://www.exeterchiefs.co.uk/) in 2021 which led to a series of exciting campaigns. Notably, an April Fools (https://www.kensaheatpumps.com/news-blog/exeter-chiefs-stadium-heated-by-player-power/) claiming that the Chiefs would heat Sandy Park Stadium with player power. The tongue-in-cheek skit played on the real science of networked heat pumps using the energy from waste heat (https://www.kensaheatpumps.com/commercial/how-ground-source-heat-pumps-can-utilise-the-potential-of-waste-heat/) to enhance the efficiency of heating & cooling systems.
Kensa and the Chiefs also hosted a number of competitions giving lucky winners the chance to see the mighty Chiefs in action at Sandy Park (https://www.sandypark.co.uk/). In October 2021, the Kensa team headed down to Sandy Park for a sponsored match, the Kensa Group’s Marketing Director, Stephanie Gregory, and former CEO Simon Lomax presented Tom Hendrickson with Player of the Day.
The South West brands who have similar success stories, pioneering the way in their respective fields, will continue their partnership with the upcoming season. This news comes as Exeter Chiefs launched new branding for the club with a visual identity that has moved with the times, but with a nod to the region’s past. The Chiefs’ new logo draws inspiration from a Celtic Iron Age Tribe. Exeter Chiefs kicked off season 22/23 with a win in week 1 of the Gallagher Premiership. The match which was sponsored by Kensa Heat Pumps saw the Chiefs victorious with a 24-20 win against Leicester Tigers. We hope the Chiefs can continue their success in the remainder of the season.
Kensa Heat Pumps will be featured on the back of the men’s home kit for season 22/23.
